The Person Behind the Profession

I'm Tharindu Hettiarachchi, a Corporate & Individual Tax Professional passionate about making Sri Lankan taxation simple, practical, and accessible.

Currently serving in the Group Finance Division of Brown & Company PLC, I work on corporate tax compliance, tax administration, and process improvement across 30+ companies and business divisions. My expertise includes Corporate Income Tax, Individual Income Tax, VAT, WHT, SSCL, Stamp Duty, CGT, and other regulatory tax matters.

Beyond my corporate role, I help businesses and individuals better understand their tax obligations through practical guidance, knowledge sharing, and educational content. My mission is to transform taxation from a complex compliance requirement into a strategic tool that supports better decisions, stronger governance, and sustainable growth.
